(LYRICS Urdu, Devanagari, WITH TRANSLATION) I have tried to depict the feelings of the fantasy in the poetry through this animated video. I hope you will like it. 

The poetry, singing, and the music of this song are not from this world,they are from the heavens. ... The bewitching and divine tune is composed by Hemant Kumar and the subtle romantic poetry is from Kaifi Azmi which has been fantasised by the magical voice of Lata Ji for the movie Anupama .
I have added flute from another beautiful song - "Aisa Sama na Hota" composed by RD Burman ji.

armaan aankheiN khol dey, rusvaa na ho jaaye koi 
Lest my desires overcome me, and someone may not be disgraced! 
پلکوں کی ٹھنڈی سیج پر۔۔۔ سپنوں کی پریاں سوتی ہیں ۔۔۔ 
palkon ki thandi sej par, sapnooN ki pariyaaN sooti haiN 
On the cool bed of my eyelids, the fairies of my dreams are sleeping! 

ایسی بھی باتیں ہوتی ہیں ۔۔۔۔۔ 
aisi bhi baateiN hoti haiN 
kuchh bhi nahiN 

دل کی تسلی کے لیے ۔۔ جھوٹی چمک ، جھوٹا نکھار۔۔۔۔۔۔ 
dil ki tasalli ke liye, jhoothi chamak, jhootha nikhar 
For the consolation of my mind, (I did) this false glitter and groom! 
جیون تو سونا ہی رہا ۔۔۔ سب سمجھے آیؑ ہے بہار۔۔ 
jeevan to soona hi raha, sab samjheiN aayi hai bahaar 
Even then, my life remained barren, though everybody thought of a spring in it! 
کلیوں سے کویؑ پوچھتا ۔۔ ھنستی ہیں یا روتی ہیں ۔۔۔۔۔ 
kaliyon se koi poochhta, haNsti haiN ya woh roti haiN 
Someone should have asked the flower-buds, are they smiling or weeping?
ایسی بھی باتیں ہوتی ہیں ۔۔۔۔۔
