(LYRICS, TRANSLATION & VIDEO) “She is in deep love with him. She fought with the Family for him, but now she feels so fragile. He has given her a good living, but never expressed his love. With the fear of losing him, she is afraid to convey her love too. When he comes to visit her, she is surprised and she becomes angst-ridden on his departure. She does not understand her own tormented mental condition”.
 Nayyara Noor نیّرہ نور in her unique, sensitive and mesmerizing voice has sung this amazing and heart wrenching ghazal so passionately, it sinks into the Soul. Only she can portray the angst and agony described in the poem. The astounding poetry has been written by (Late) Shohrat Bokhari. Of course, such a beautiful ghazal needs unique beauty ......Madhubala.



LYRICS WITH TRANSLATION
Har chand sahara hai tere pyar ka dil ko.. 
ہر چند سہارا ہے تیرے پیار کا دل کو
Although, my heart has the support of your love
Rehta hai magar aik ajab khauf sa dil ko..
رہتا ہے مگر ایک عجب خوف سا دل کو 
---- But, there's always a strange fear in my heart! ) 


Woh khawab ke dekha na kabhi; le uda neendain.. 
وہ خواب کہ دیکھا نا کبھی لے اڑا نیندیں
(The dream which was never realized; took away my sleep
Woh dard ke utha na kabhi; khaa gaya dil ko..
وہ درد کے اٹھا نا کبھی ؛ کھا گیا دل کو
-----The anguish I never felt within, obsessed my heart!)


Yaa saans ka lena bhi guzar jana hai ji se.. 
یا سانس کا لینا بھی گزر جانا ہے جی سے
(Now, it is difficult for to even take a breath
Yaa marka-e-ishq bhi ik khel tha dil ko.. 
یا معرکہ ے  عشق بھی اک کھیل تھا دل کو
----And at a time, fight-for-love was just a play for my heart!)

Woh aayein to heyraan woh jaayein to pareshaan..
وہ آیں تو حیراں ۔۔ وہ جایؑں تو پریشاں 
(When he comes, I am surprised, when he leaves I am anguished
Ya Rab koi samjaye yeh kya hogaya dil ko..
یا رب کویؑ سمجھاےؑ یہ کیا ہو گیا دل کو
---- O God! Someone tell me, what has happened to my heart!)

Two legends and the journey through decades brought us in transit to watch one, acting and other singing. It wont be fair to leave the creator of words, "Mansha Yaad" out. A hard choice is given, now even harder to decide what to watch and what to listen. Both are great in their frames....Madhubala & nayyerah Noor!     Just amazing!
    It is really not an easy task of getting appropriate video for a selected song,
    especially with songs with lots of emotions in it.You did a great job in previous clips and in this also.Nayyara aapa ke is bhaavpuurn gaane ke saath poora justice kiya hai.
    Aapke blog par lyrics ka translation ,english -urdu-hindi mein ek umda concept hai.
    Achcha sunNe aur dekhne walon ke liye aapke ye efforts bahut saraahe jaayenge.
